We provide a bedroom double bed/fan/microwave/small refrigerator/coffee maker/ bathroom is separate and shared with other employees. Bathroom has private shower. Wifi available. Non smoker preferred. Location is at the zoo facility. When we travel we go in trailers (caravan/RV) or are in hotels or motels.
We are hiring for the 2014 travel season for the state of California. We need students with Real Good English and good looking, they are going to be the face of the company, in permanent direct contact with our guests/customers. So we decide to hire students who worked in the US before, or had a long-term trip/stay or studied in an English-speaking country before. First-time Work and Travel USA participants - please do NOT apply! Looking for and will give preference for those who want to pursue careers in the zoological field. Must have great people skills, good English speaking skills, love animals, use tools, lift and assemble animal enclosures, early mornings and late nights. Long set up days. Willing to research information to share with the public that visit the wildlife exhibits. Animal handling skills. In good physical condition. Must love animals, we have monkeys, snakes, alligators etc.
tan pants/ shorts we provide uniform shirts/ work boots or walking shoes/ belt/ socks/ minimal tattoos/ no jewelry while on shift.
